Hey everyone! I totally meant to post this last night but I got so engrossed in doing my work (by which I mean watching Parks and Rec and pretending to do my work) that I forgot. Sorry about that. But anyway, today I have a review of the AWESOME new Barry M Gellys. This is the third set they've released, you can see my review of the second set here. This time around there are 5 new colours, and I think they're right on trend for summer. As always the rest of the photos will be after the jump!
First up is 'Mango' which is a brilliant orange, this was 2 easy coats and this is without top coat (but because it's a gelly it doesnt really need one because they're super shiny, and they last well too)
Secondly, is 'Blue Grape', this again is 2 coats, without top coat. I wore this colour for 4 days with absolutely no chips and very very minimum wear, despite attacking my finger with a shoe, or my shoe with my finger, whichever way you look at it.
Next is 'Key Lime'* which is 100% my favourite lime green ever. Again this was 2 coats with no top coat. This has been compared to 'Lime Green' by Barry M, but it has a much much better formula and is also slightly darker. Also, I'm pretty sure Lime Green has been discontinued as I couldn't find it on the website
Next is 'Passion Fruit'* which is a lovely red, but it seems to have come out more pink in pictures, this again was 2 coats but I could probably have got away with one. No top coat
Finally, is my personal favourite of the collection: 'Guava'*, this was a difficult one to capture on camera but either way it still looks great, this was 2 coats with no topcoat. LOOK AT IT.
Overall I'm really impressed with this collection! It's definitely suited to summer and as usual the formula is perfection. As always I love the gelly collection and can't wait to see more!
These will be released in Superdrug on June 5th and Boots on June 12th, priced at £3.99 each
What do you think? Will you be getting any of these? Let me know in the comments!
