Models Own Artstix Duo Nail Polish Review + Nail Art

Hey everyone! I apologise for my hiatus due to my broken laptop, but I now have a wonderful new one so I should have quite a few posts coming up for you. This post was meant to be up last week but obviously I haven't been able to, so you can enjoy it now instead. Today I have two Models Own Artstix Duos to show you, Pink Stuff* and Nude Jack* which were released on the 17th April so are now available in boots and online for £6, which considering their polishes are usually £5 each is a really good deal for 2 colours!

The rest of the photos will be after the jump to avoid spamming you!

So first up is 'Pink Stuff' which is a combination of 'Pastel Pink' and 'Hot Stuff' from the mirrorball collection.

'Pastel Pink' alone is a wonderful barbie pink and I'll definitely be using this alone! This is 2 easy coats

I chose to do a bit of nail art with the glitter as they were so girly I thought a bit more girly-ness with some hearts wouldn't hurt! I only needed one layer of the glitter but a slight amount of glitter placement was needed, which is to be expected.

Next up is 'Nude Jack' which is a combination of 'Nude Beige' and 'Jack Frost' from the wonderland collection.

'Nude Beige' alone didn't really suit my skin colour and I was a bit wary of it at first, but as soon as I added the glitter I LOVED it, this was 2 easy coats just like with 'Pastel Pink'

After adding the glitter I added an easy line design to it just to give it an extra something, this glitter was one easy coat and I absolutely love the combination of the two together!

You can purchase the Artstic Duos here on the models own website, or in Boots, for £6, and I would definitely recommend them. There are also a number of other colour combinations which look great and I think I'll be picking a couple of those up as well!

What do you think? Will you be buying any of these? Let me know in the comments!
