Born Pretty Store BK Review + Nail Art

I wasn't going to do a post this week because I have so much work to do, but when I received these polishes in the post from Born Pretty Store I knew I wanted to create some nail art along with the review. The products I received were #13 and #16 from these polishes. All swatches are without topcoat. More photos after the jump!

First up is #16 (unfortunately these dont have names, only numbers) which is your typical red, the red I'd previously been using was more jelly-like and I'm glad to have received this one as it's a lot more opaque, this will definitely be my go-to red from now on. In this photo I used 2 coats, but I could probably have got away with just the one (it really is the perfect red). The polish also wasn't as thick as I thought it would be, I'd say it was what I'd consider "normal" consistency and for the opacity you get that's definitely a good thing!

The second polish is #13 which is a lovely pink. and although I have tons of pinks in my collection this is actually completely different to all I own, I wasn't expecting it to be because it seems pretty generic but it it's a really lovely shade, I struggled to capture it properly in the pictures. Again I used 2 coats for full opacity.

Remember you can use my code KHL91 to get 10% off these polishes, which are $2.95 each with free shipping!

I decided to create some nail art with #13 and when looking through my 'to do' list I decided it would be a good time to recreate my 'Inspired by fashion' nails from the 31 day nail art challenge which I've been meaning to do in pink for a while. What do you think?

Hope you like them! Alice

This product was sent to me for review but any opinions included are entirely my own and were not affected in any way by anyone else
